This page exists to tell you about a product that is not yet released. In keeping with that, we collect very little.
- We set no cookies and run no third-party analytics or advertising scripts on this site.
- The only personal data we gather deliberately is whatever you choose to send us when you email contact@mesdata.co.
- Our web server keeps standard technical logs so the site can be operated and protected.
- We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.
- If you become a design partner, the manufacturing data you put into the product is governed by a separate agreement with us, not by this policy.

For the purposes of data protection law, the data controller for this website is MESDATA (Singapore), trading as MESDATA.
You can reach us about anything in this policy, including exercising your rights, at contact@mesdata.co.
03What we collect
Information you give us
When you email us — for example to request early access, ask a question, or offer feedback — we receive the content of your message along with your name, email address, and any other details you include, such as your employer, job title, site location or a description of the manufacturing problem you are trying to solve.
Information created automatically
Like any site operated behind a standard web server, we record technical log entries when you load a page. These typically include your IP address, browser and operating system, the referring URL, the pages requested, and the date and time of the request. This is used to operate and secure the site, not to build a profile about you.
Information from third parties
We do not purchase or receive personal data about you from third parties.
04How we use it
We use personal data only where the law allows us to:
- Reply to you and process a request you have made — our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our business, and the steps you asked us to take.
- Evaluate and manage design partners — performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one.
- Operate, secure and debug the website — our legitimate interest in running it safely and preventing abuse.
- Meet legal and accounting obligations — legal requirements applicable to us.
- Contact you about our products — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We do not make decisions about you by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effect, and we do not profile you.
06Who we share it with
We may share personal data with:
- Service providers who host this site and our email, and who process data on our instructions under contractual safeguards — Porkbun and OVH.
- Professional advisers such as our lawyers and accountants, where they need to see it to advise us.
- Law enforcement, courts or regulators, where we are required or permitted to disclose it by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
- An acquirer, if we sell or restructure the business, so they can continue operating it under this policy.
We never sell, rent or trade personal data.
07International transfers
We are based in Singapore and aim to keep data there. Where a provider processes data outside the UK or European Economic Area, we rely on recognized adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses together with additional technical and organizational measures, and we will describe the safeguards on request.
08How long we keep it
- Email enquiries — up to [24 months] from our last exchange with you, after which we delete them unless we have a specific reason to keep them.
- Design-partner correspondence — for the term of the agreement plus [7 years], consistent with limitation periods.
- Server logs — [30–90 days], then deleted or aggregated.
- Marketing consent records — until you withdraw consent, plus a short period to evidence that we honoured it.
Where we no longer need your data for the purposes above, we delete or irreversibly anonymise it.
09How we protect it
We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access limited to people who need it, authenticated accounts, and review of who has access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we take our obligations seriously and will notify you and any applicable regulator if a personal data breach leaves you at material risk.
10Your rights
Where UK or EU data protection law applies to you, you may ask us to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erase data we no longer need, or that you have withdrawn consent for.
- Restrict or object to our processing, including processing based on legitimate interests.
- Port your data to another provider, where the law gives you that right.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
Write to us at contact@mesdata.co. We will respond within one month and may need to verify your identity first. Requests are free unless they are manifestly unfounded or excessive.
11Marketing
We have no newsletter today. If we start one, or if we email you about releases, pricing or events, we will ask first and every message will include a way to opt out. Opting out stops the messages; it does not stop us contacting you about something you asked us to do.
12Children
This site is intended for business use by adults. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
13Changes to this policy
We will update this page as our products and obligations change, and revise the “last updated” date above. Where changes materially affect how we handle your data, we will notify people we are in correspondence with rather than rely on this page alone.
